    The City of Philadelphia is approximately 28 miles southeast with easy access by way of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Schuylkill Expressway, Interstate 476, Routes 202 and 309. Upper Gwynedd Township is a prime area to reside due to the fact that it is close enough to the city for commuting yet far enough to experience country living.

    Changes for UGT Republicans Since the website was originally launched, 3 goals were setup by the committee: To build a new website for the committee, establish a contact list to reach out to UGT citizens for support of our work and to reach out beyond the party to educate and promote Conservative / Constitutional values and understanding.

    In the middle of 2024, the committee has moved to focus on specific issues and away from much of our original objectives. That included no interest in continuing with this as their official website.

    Affective, February, 2025, this website is no longer part of the UGT authorized and elected committee. In light of that change, we have made it clear to that committee that we will continue to support their efforts to support the election of Republican candidates for Local, County, State and Federal offices. We have informed them that we will continue posts events and other outreaches both on the website and in our eNewsletter. We will also maintain the list of current UGT Republican Committee Members and other information about the committee that would be of public value.

    We are somewhat disappointed in this change, but look forward to a new path and hope that our visitors and subscribers will continue their support.
